Lundin to resume exploration in North Sea Grieg area

Lundin Norway has permission from the Norwegian Petroleum Safety Authority to drill two exploratory wells east of the Edvard Grieg field in the North Sea.

 

The semi-submersible Leiv Eiriksson is due to start the programme on wells 16/1-31 S and 16/1-31 A next month in licence OL 338, in 111 metres (364 feet) water depth.

 

The campaign could last 83 days, including the options of a side track and formation tests.
