Neptune Energy granted North Sea drilling permit

Neptune Energy Norge AS has been granted a permit by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate to drill in the North Sea.

Well 33/6-5 S—the fourth exploration well in production licence 882—will be drilled from the Deepsea Yantai drilling about eight km north-west of Snorre field after concluding drilling of development wells for Neptune in production license 636. The area in licence 882 consists of parts of Blocks 33/6 and 34/4.

Neptune Energy is operator with 45% interest. Partners are Petrolia NOCO AS (20%), Idemitsu Petroleum Norge AS (20%), and Concedo AS (15%).
