STATS resolves pipeline issues offshore Malaysia
STATS Group has completed a six-month campaign of pipeline isolations in Malaysia.
The company performed the 12 isolations on behalf of partner Handal Energy Berhad for an unnamed operator in Malaysia.
In all cases the company deployed its Remote Tecno Plugs (RTPs), providing inline pipeline isolation to permit live repair and replacement of valves offshore and onshore West Malaysia and Sarawak.
The RTPs ranged in size from 12-inches to 32-inches.
Joint teams from STATS Beranang workshop in Kuala Lumpur, supported by personnel from the UK and UAE, completed the projects on schedule.
