Stena Forth to decommission wells offshore Israel

Noble Energy Mediterranean Ltd has contracted Stena Drilling for a decommissioning campaign offshore Israel.

The drilling contractor revealed via social media that the drillship Stena Forth has been selected for this work scope and is expected to mobilise to Israel between July and August 2021.

There are four wells to decommission and the work is estimated to take around 80 days.

addition, there is an option to extend the contract for up to three P&A wells and one completion in Israel, as well as one further option well offshore Cyprus.
