Tag Oil, Tamarind extend closing date on NZ assets sale

Tag Oil Ltd, Vancouver, BC, has agreed with Tamarind Resources Pte Ltd, Kuala Lumpur, to extend the closing date of the deal by which it would sell substantially all of its New Zealand assets and operations.

All necessary approvals, including final approval from New Zealand Petroleum and Minerals, have been granted.

In a press statement, the company said it is working on “final items” to close the transaction “within a timely manner.”
