All platforms in place at South Pars Phase 13 offshore Iran

Pars Oil and Gas Company has installed the fourth and final platform at the South Pars Phase 13 complex in the Persian Gulf.

POGC official Payam Motamed told news service Shana that the HL5000 barge was used to install the 2,500-ton Platform 13C, which was constructed at the SADRA yard.

Once this and the recently installed Platform 13A come onstream, the phase’s gas output should increase by 28 MMcm/d.

The full design capacity for Phase 13 is 56 MMcm/d.
