Iran plans US$4 billion offshore North Pars gas hub

National Iranian Oil Company plans to spend around US$11 billion to boost gas production from Iran’s offshore fields by 240 bcm.

 

As part of this programme, CEO Mohsen Khojastehmehr announced plans for a new US$4 billion hub on the North Pars field in the Persian Gulf, the scope of the development being equivalent to four phases of South Pars.

 

Development of the first phase of the Kish gas field is also on the agenda, according to the report by Iranian news service Shana.
