North Sea Offshore 2018: Programme announced

“Energy Transition and the North Sea” is the theme of the fourth edition of North Sea Offshore to be held on the 7th June in Den Helder.

 

The North Sea and her surrounding ports offer vast opportunities in a rapidly changing energy climate. Thanks to countless years of experience in oil and gas, a tested infrastructure and a varied supply chain, the North Sea is the place for new and innovative projects.

 

During the plenary programme, from 13:30 to 15:30, experts will share their insights on topical themes relating to the North Sea.

 

“The North Sea as transition expeditor for the Netherlands” will be a presentation by Rene Peters, Director Gas Technology at TNO, Eveline Otten from the Energy Transition Team at Shell will discuss the Climate and Energy Agreements and the programme will be concluded with a look at decommissioning on the North Sea. Afterwards participant scan network and discuss over drinks and small snacks.

 

Company visits in the morning

It is also possible to attend the morning programme which includes, among others, company visits organised by Den Helder Airport together with CHC Helicopters, NNOW who will discuss the European project Inn2POWER and Teamwork Technology will highlight their Symphony System for wave technology.
