Salman platform offshore Iran close to delivery

Construction is nearing completion of the 1,000-ton S1 platform topsides for the Salman oil field development in the Persian Gulf.

According to news service Shana, the Khorramshahr Yard in Iran is also working on the A20 and A21 platforms for the Abouzar field.

The S1 jacket has been installed at the offshore location, as have export sea-lines.

Installation of the topsides is expected to follow soon.
