Second Tortue Phase 2 well goes onstream offshore Gabon
BW Energy has started oil production from the second well in its Tortue Phase 2 field development in the Dussafu Marin permit offshore Gabon.
The first well, DTM-5H, came online last week. According to partner Panoro Energy, overall field production continues to stabilise, with current output at around 20,000 b/d.
Two more producer wells are due to be tied back to FPSO BW Adolo under Phase 2 and these should both be onstream by June.
