Total extends Maersk drilling assignment offshore Suriname
Total has exercised an option to add a further appraisal well to the present scope of the semi-submersible Mærsk Developer in block 58 offshore Suriname.
The extension, valued at around US$20 million, is around 100 days and is due to take effect at the end of this month, in direct continuation of the previously agreed work scope.
The Mærsk Developer is a DSS-21 column-stabilised DP semi-submersible rig, delivered in 2009.
