ADNOC to explore, develop new gas discovery
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company and Dubai Supply Authority have signed an agreement to explore and develop a new gas discovery between the emirates of Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The United Arab Emirates Vice-President and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, emir of Dubai, reported the agreement in a tweet on the 3rd February, noting the find is one of the “largest gas fields discovered between Abu Dhabi and Dubai with 80 trillion cubic feet of reserves.”
Neither a timeframe for development nor estimated project costs were disclosed.
