Dana Gas reviews options for Zora offshore UAE

Dana Gas’ 3Q production from the Zora gas field offshore Sharjah/Ajman averaged 1,550 boe/d, down from 1,650 boe/d in the second quarter.

The company has recently completed a notional field development plan and intervention programme to address the unexpected and rapid decline in production from the field, which it has developed using a single offshore platform.

It is currently assessing the economic feasibility of this proposal, and based on current follow-up work will take a final decision on the asset’s future.
