Denholm MacNamee Reports Successful Return to Kazakhstan

A leading provider of innovative asset cleaning and decontamination solutions has reported a successful return to an important overseas market.

In 2017, Inverurie-based Denholm MacNamee unveiled significant investment in the purchase of an external heat exchanger cleaner (shell side) and associated equipment which was quickly deployed to work on its first project in Kazakhstan, at the request of sister company Denholm Zholdas.

Such was the success of this technology on its first deployment that the company recently returned for the second time to carry out further scopes during an annual turnaround at a large refinery in the west of the country.

Delivering cleaning power of 1,000 bar at 204 litres per minute, the cutting-edge equipment deployed by Denholm MacNamee involves a robotic solution which is five times quicker than manual options.  In addition, it is also significantly more cost-effective with greatly enhanced safety and efficiency implications.

Commenting on the company’s successful operations in Kazakhstan, Denholm MacNamee Managing Director Brian Ritchie said: “The purchase of this significant addition to our portfolio in 2017 has paid dividends in many ways, including enabling us to introduce innovative automated jetting solutions to support Denholm Zholdas in a key overseas market such as Kazakhstan.”
