EnscoRowan jack-up to drill three wells on Manora offshore Thailand

Mubadala Petroleum and its partners have approved three new development wells on the Manora oil field in the Gulf of Thailand.

The jack-up ENSCO 115 may already have started drilling.

MNA-22, a deviated well, will be completed as an up-dip producer with a multi-zone completion in the 490-60 and 500-50 reservoirs. It will be brought immediately into production at an estimated initial rate of 1,000 b/d, using an electric submersible pump for artificial lift.

The main purpose of the MNA-23 well will be to produce the low relief shallow oil column in the 370-90 reservoir which was discovered by the Manora-8ST delineation well.

Planned TD is 3,550 feet (1,082 metres) TVDSS.

This will be a horizontal well completed with a screen in the open hole, and again brought online immediately at 1,000 b/d, with an ESP.

MNA-24 will be another horizontal well targeting the low relief shallow oil column in the 370-10 reservoir, discovered by the Manora-8ST delineation well.

Planned TD is 3,465 feet (1,056 metres) TVDSS, with a similar completion/ESP arrangement to MNA-23.
