Lincoln DST west of Shetland flows oil
Hurricane Energy has confirmed that a drillstem test on the Lincoln Crestal exploration well west of Shetland has produced oil to surface, resulting in a flare.
The company issued its statement in response to speculation that the 205/26b-14 well, drilled by the semi-sub Transocean Leader, had discovered oil.
Lincoln Crestal is a fractured basement prospect in the Greater Warwick Area.
