Lundin drilling again in Luno area offshore Norway

Lundin Norway has permission to drill an appraisal well on the Luno II structure in the central Norwegian North Sea.

Following authorisation from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate, the semi-submersible COSLInnovator will drill well 16/4-11 in production licence 359, two kilometres (1.2 miles) south-east of the discovery well 16/4-6 S.

This will be the fifth well on the licence, awarded in 2006, and which covers the south-western part of block 16/1 and the northern half of block 16/4.
