Piracy attacks off West Africa
The club is aware of several recent piracy incidents in the Gulf of Guinea with incidents being reported off the coasts of Benin and Togo in the past few days.
The club would remind all members who may be trading in the Gulf of Guinea to exercise vigilance and ensure that they adhere to the latest version of BMP (currently 5) in all affected areas, as well as any related industry guidelines and practices.
The club is continuing to closely monitor developments and will provide members with further updates in due course.
