Saipem lands new deal in Middle East worth US$1.3 billion

Italian contractor Saipem has been awarded a pipeline project in the Engineering & Construction (E&C) offshore sector in the Middle East worth approximately US$1.3 billion.

 

The Italian company said on the 4th June that the contract involves engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) activities associated to two 32-inch export pipelines, two 24-inch Corrosion-Resistant Alloy (CRA) intrafield pipelines, risers, spool pieces and subsea structures also entailing a short onshore section and offshore brownfield topsides modifications.

 

The award includes the novation of substantial CRA Linepipe and long lead items contracts, Saipem added.
